The 20th episode marks the end of this season, with plans for the next already in the works. The appearance of Cha Tae-hyun and Kim Jong-kook, both turning 50 (Korean age) this year, is said to have made this episode a standout, sparking anticipation for their chemistry.

During the filming, Yoo Jae-suk expressed his disappointment “It’s already the final episode. Time flies” as he met Yoo Yeon-seok. However, the atmosphere quickly shifted when Kim Jong-kook and Cha Tae-hyun made their boisterous entrance, filling the set with energy. Kim Jong-kook humorously asked, “Why are we meeting so early today? The reason we appeared in the final episode is because there weren’t many people who had time early in the morning, right?” His lively comments immediately caught attention.

Yoo Yeon-seok, overwhelmed by the energy, remarked “The tone is different right from the start“, sensing an exhausting but fun day ahead. With Yoo Jae-suk, a longtime colleague of Kim Jong-kook from “Running Man“, joining in, the opening segment became so noisy it was described as causing “audio earthquakes”, showcasing the dynamic synergy between Yoo Jae-suk, Yoo Yeon-seok, Cha Tae-hyun and Kim Jong-kook—the “chatterbox quartet”.

The peak of their banter was reached when marriage rumors surrounding Kim Jong-kook were brought up. Yoo Yeon-seok teased, “Don’t you have a woman in LA? I heard you even have a child there.” Kim Jong-kook, sighing as if unable to defend himself anymore, retorted, “Thanks to Cha Tae-hyun, the elders think I got married in LA.” He jokingly added “My child is already growing up in LA“, evoking laughter. With his trademark humor, Cha Tae-hyun chimed in “Jong-kook’s going to become a grandfather in 2025“, escalating the joke from marriage rumors to “grandfather rumors”.

Yoo Jae-suk, addressing the fact that Cha Tae-hyun and Kim Jong-kook are turning 50 (Korean age) this year, said cryptically “There are good things about being 50, but some things aren’t great. You’ll find out soon“, heightening the tension for the still-single Kim Jong-kook.
